FIBERFLEX 40D Burgundy is a print-friendly flexible filament with a Shore hardness of D40.
FIBERFLEX 40D Burgundy (bordeaux red) is flexible filament that allows you to easily create rubber-like prints. With a hardness of D40 on the Shore scale (comparable to, for example, skateboard wheels), you can print at speeds up to 45mm/s with a direct drive extruder (for a bowden setup 15-30 mm/s). The feed is easy and the layers adhere very well to each other. Due to its user-friendliness, FIBERFLEX 40D can be used for both amateur and professional applications. FIBERFLEX 40D filament can withstand lower temperatures, is abrasion-resistant, and has high impact resistance. You will discover that printing with flexible filament doesn't have to be difficult at all.
Fiberlogy is known for its premium quality filament that meets the highest quality standards and goes beyond other manufacturers. By maintaining a diameter tolerance of 0.05 mm and a roundness tolerance of 0.02 mm for flexible filament, FIBERFLEX 40D stands out from the rest and enables you to get the best out of your 3D printer.
Tip: To make it easier to remove your print, we recommend heating the bed to 110°C
Refer to the table below to see how the hardness of 40D compares. It's also useful for comparing with other TPU filaments that work with Shore A.
