Masterspool voor refill filament

Do you want to use Fiberlogy Refill filament (available in Fiberlogy Easy PLA, Fiberlogy R PLA, Fiberlogy Easy PETG, and Fiberlogy PCTG)? Then you can use a Masterspool. Save 12 hours of printing and a lot of filament by using our self-developed and printed Masterspool. The Masterspool is printed in-house with Fiberlogy R PLA Anthracite (anthracite gray) on one of our Prusa i3 MK3S+. By using recycled PLA, the usefulness and sustainability of a reusable Masterspool come to the fore.

The new Masterspool

We have designed this spool from scratch. The inspiration came from the MasterSpool V4 that we always used ourselves. This spool is great, but we found some things less pleasant. Unlike the V4, which consists of 2 different parts, the new Masterspool is completely symmetrical, so you have 2 equal halves that are interchangeable. Our model also no longer has a threaded insert, which is difficult to print at larger layer heights. The new Masterspool has slightly larger dimensions for use with Fiberlogy Refill filament, where it was previously quite tight. There are convenient recesses to attach zip ties to secure your filament if you want to remove it from the spool.

There is also space to attach a label. This size is ideal for use with Avery 3657 (48.5 x 25.4 mm) or L7654-100 (45.7 x 25.4 mm) labels.
